Experience

I have about five years in total of tutoring experience. I started in Junior High School tutoring Math- Pre-Algebra and Algebra, in High School I also tutored math up to College Allegra. As an undergraduate at Western Illinois University, I tutored psychology, research psychology, military science writing, law enforcement writing, American Psychological Associate (APA) style and format, and Gender Studies. In my Masters of Liberal Arts and Sciences, I continued to tutor APA, American Sociological Association (ASA), statistics, and quantitative methods. However, my most extensive tutoring experience came at University of North Florida (UNF), where I was a writing tutor for numerous disciplines for three semesters. At UNF my focus was APA, ASA, and professional writing skills. I primarily worked with nursing, pre-med, masters and bachelors psychology and mental health, doctorate of education, doctorate of nursing, masters and bachelors healthcare administration, masters and bachelors public health, masters and bachelors of business administration, engineering, and business majors. In addition, I worked with several students that were working on personal statements, primary, and secondary letters for medical school, law school, pharmacy school, and optometry school.

Hobbies

My hobbies are reading, writing (freelance and research), making face masks, watching Netflix and Hulu, editing, professional writing, researching education and health trends, and visiting friends. I have traveled to over 15 countries mostly Europe, Asia, and North America. I believe that education and continuing education is extremely important, hence I intended to go back to school to get my Doctorate within the next few years.
